When will an alert occur?

If SiteAlert detects an error, your site will be checked a second and third time immediately. Only if the same error still exists, you will recieve a message. This prevents spam due to a 'server-hick up'. Depending on the package you've purchased you´ll get a message via Email, SMS or RSS-Feed.

Why SMS, RSS?

In most hosting-packages the mailserver is located on the same physical machine as the webserver. If the server is down, you won´t recieve any email as well. That´s why you can choose an technically indepent communication channel for your alerts.

How often will be alerted?

If a problem with a server persists, 5 alert messages will be sent at maximum. We don´t want to spam you. 

Will I be informed, if everything works properly again?
